Yeah, I'm sure he comes back in some form or another. The game hinted as much. But I think Okami's kind of like Twin Peaks, where one could have easily quit that show after Laura Palmer's murderer was revealed and captured. Sure, the evil forces were still out there, somewhere, and the show limped on for the second half of its run. But I could have stopped right there and felt the show was a complete, satisfying experience.
